Hey guys I no longer run points in my car and I am now using hei ignition for a long time now. The other day I was going through my engine harness and I found the white resistor wire and I was told that this wire could cause a fire if its not proberly taken care off!! Basically what should I do with it?? Is there any possible way of getting ride of it completely or at least the power to it?? Thanks guys

I just taped up the terminal real good, and routed it back up into the firewall gutter. That way, in an emergency, its still there. As long as you insure the terminal end won't short against anything, there will be no current flow thru the wire.
