I have a 65 chevelle with factory am/fm and a stereo multiplex adaptor. When the unit is cold it sounds fine for a few minutes, but as it warms up the sound gets weaker and distorted and then the left channel cuts out completely, and the right channel loses more power. Any ideas what could be wrong, and who can i send it to for repair?

Sounds like solder connections and/or the audio output transistors are beginning to fail. The germanium based transistors used in Delco outputs of the day have the tendency to short.
