Hello all, this is for my 50 sedan delivery that I just bought. The speedo, and tac are both not hooked up and the gas gauge just stays at full most of the time. The guys says that the tranny ( TH700-R4 is an older version or something and needs some kind of adapter or something to correctly hook it up. The tac is just connecting it to the distributor right? As for the gas gauge he says he put a new sensor in it but still no go. Any info would be great.

Tach hooks up to the low side of the coil.
Try disconnecting the sender wire from the gage. See how the gage responds. Not sure if that's a 45 ohm sender or not.
