What is the technical name for the male & female connector's that go through the bulkhead fitting? I need some to finish the harness conversion. Does anybody know where I can get them from, or would they be a common stock item at napa? Thank's for the help, Dave.

If you are talking about the little brass terminals, that's what I call them, terminals. I got mine from an AC Delco supply house. They sell parts for EVERYTHING from lawnmowers to big rigs. Anything electrical....... I took one of each with me and the guy just walked to the shelf and asked "HOW MANY".

Check your NAPA store. Their Belden line has the terminals, Part #725145 for the male end and #725147 for the female. They also carry the insulators for the terminals.

Anybody know where to get the plasic part? Mine are half melted. There are none available at local salvage yards. Or do I need to replace the whole harness? The dash harness is pretty well butchered. Probably why the bulkhead connectors melted.

If you just need the plastic shell Dick may have one off a parts car.

Thanks John. I checked with Dick Two weeks ago and no luck. I think I will go ahead and order a new harness. Wish me luck. I have never done this before, but I have to get my 65 El Camino back on the road. My wife is fed up with not having a car.

I'm assuming that they are the same as 64, but perhaps one of the experts can tell us for sure. Do you just need the connectors for the engine and front lamp harnesses or do you also need the fuse block?

I just pulled the fuse block. It's Kind of toasted to. Also has very bad corrosion. There are also way too many sloppy splices to who knows what under the dash. I am ordering a new harness to day. I will tell my wife it's my Christmas present. Thank you all for the help.
