oK HERE IT IS..I got this hei distributor from the super chevy show in columbus today....well i have a point dist. now...how do I hook the hei without having a msd box or some other box..can I hook it up with the stock stuff in my car...if so how.....thanks guys

Yea it`s a piece of cake, just stab it in and instead of using the regular power wire, run a wire from the BAT terminal on the distributer to a 12 volt source in the fuse block because the HEI requires 12 volts where as the points distributer has a resister or something that I believe requires only about 7/9. Make sure it`s not a source were the power`s always on because when you shut off the ignition switch your motor won`t. That`s what I did the first time.
