I've got a problem with the idle solinoid on the side of the E4ME 4bbl. on an '86 305 Camino, it should kick the idle spd. UP when the Air is on, only does it when it wants to, I know the sol. is good, (works when 12v is put to it) and when it's not working there is no voltage at the wire that goes to the sol. There's probably an intermittent switch being made on the A/C control panel,or its reliant on a thermal switch to make ground and close the relay to supply voltage to solenoid.
Really unless you or someone has a print its gonna be hard to T/S over the net
