Quick question. I just got a CS130 alt from the wrecker, with the harness. There is no wire for the S terminal. Can I assume this alt can sense the voltage it's self with out the S terminal? I believe so, just want to make sure.

It can but if it was my car I would find a connector in my travels and hook up the "S" wire.

I have it all hooked up and it seems to work perfectly. Should I still try and hook up the S terminal? Why? Would it help low rpm voltage output?

It will run but the "s" or sense line monitors voltage away from the alternator. This helps under heavy load conditions. Keep an eye out for another connector and spend the dollar for it. It will help you at some point without laying out big bucks.
