Before I put my car back together I want to know that the blower motor is working. Is there a way to test it when it's out of the car?

Very easy to test. Run a jumper wire from the motor lead straight to the positive side of your battery, Ground the blower body to a good solid ground, jumper wire to the neg battery post. If it's good, it will run. Watch those fingers! rb6667

Wanna. Be sure to test it holding it in the same position it will eventually be mounted. This way you are sure the axial play is taken into account.
