Does anyone know what MSD says to do to test the 6al box, there are two wires you ground or somthing like that and if they spark you got power, i cant remember exactly. Is a msd box a rare thing to go bad? I cant get my car to start and i dont have 12 volts at the coil with the key on On.

Should get you the info you need. BTW My 69 Camaro killed 2 6ALs due to a poor grounding during install by previous owner. Cost 52 bucks to fix both boxes (out of warranty). When I reinstalled fixed unit I rewired it myself and have had it going strong for over a year. Good Luck smile.gif
