I was just out buying a new waterpump for my 454 that's gonna be going in my '71 soon. Any long style water pump should fit on the block as long as it's for the right style of block right? Anyway, they had no pumps for a '71 but they had a pump for a '72. I can't imagine them being that much different so I just bought the one for a '72. Will there be any problems? Does anybody know what is different between the 71 and 72? TIA
