hi i have a old sun tach 4 wires all black two short two long the short ones have spay contores the long ones has some orange wire splice to it any body know how to hook it up thanks brody

If they are all the same color the only way to know which wire is which is to open the tach up and try to figure out what each one is for. If you are lucky the internal circuit board will have them marked.
