I just upgraded from non-hiding to hiding wipers. After I put in the wiper motor now my switch is backwards. I have to have it alll the way to the right for off instead of left.
Why is this?

Can't remember who has what car. May be wrong but I can't see what year. If it is a slider switch used after 69, to the right is off.

I checked the user manual(GroundUp) and the far left position is off, middle is slow, and far right is fast.

You might try flipping the connector, either at the switch or at the wiper motor. The connections consist of dark blue, ground, and light blue.
