So I've hooked the blk/wht to the horn relay, I'm not sure where to go with the other one. On my 72, there does'nt seem to be a connection by the battery where the alt hooks in. The assembly manual just show's the battery cable running down to the starter. What am I missing.
4) You will have to add two under hood wires for amp gauge. I know how to for 70/71 but I think 72 has horn relay in different location. For additional ammeter wiring in engine compartment: use 16 gauge wire with a 20 or 18 gauge fusible link for both wires. Run the Black wire (DX) to the battery junction connector (with the lead for the alternator) and the Black/White wire (CX) to one of the horn relay hot terminals. No cutting of stock harness is necessary.
