does anyone know the trick to getting the front wiring harness unpluged from the fire wall.i dont see any clips but i cant get it to pull out.

On a 72 there is a small bolt 5/16 head (maybe) right in the middle of the connector. It is between the upper & lower section of the plug. I'd bet a 70 is similar.

yes there is but after i removed the bolt all it seem to want to do is pull the whole connector block out of the fire wall.

Both harnesses (forward lamp and engine) come off together. Move them back and forth and up and down. They will come lose.

Thanks rick and elree, they pulled off just like you said.just a little unsure of myself,now the fun begins.this will just be a little test before i get inside.
