I REPLACED THE SWEEP DASH FOR A 70 SS DASH WITH FULL GAUGES AND TACH. I ADDED A CORRECT(NEW)FUSE BLOCK AND HARNESS AND A NEW CIRCUIT BOARD,BUT CANT GET ANY OF THE GAUGES TO WORK.DO I NEED TO CHANGE THE UNDER HOOD HARNESS ALSO?

yes the harness is different & so are the water & oil sending units .. its only money :rolleyes:

The only difference in the harness is two extra wires for the amp gauge. The temp sender will have to be replaced but not the oil sender. Oil is still an idiot light in the tach. If your gas gauge or Tach is not working then that would have nothing to do with the forward harness. Make sure the fuse is good for gauge power. DOes the car start and run? Make sure the ground strap that starts at the light switch to the wiper switch to ground is there.
