Hello all,

I'm putting together a 70 SS Chevelle and have alot of electrical accessories I need to wire. Some of which include the water pump, line lock, trans brake, fans, fuel pump, NOS system, etc. The battery will be in the trunk with a cutoff and I have some switches mounted in the dash. Which is the best way to wire them?

As an example lets use the water pump. It has two wires coming off of it, a power and ground wire. Do I attach the ground wire to the block and feed the power wire from the battery to my switch and out to the pump? Or do I run the power out to the pump and use the switch as the ground when it makes contact?

Any help is appreciated as I have no clue on the benefits and hazards of how to wire this car.

Thank you in advance!!
