I saw a set of tailight replacement lamps that are LEDs, but I've heard that the turn signals/emergency lights won't flash if i leave the regular flasher can. Which flasher can do I need to make them work?

The "electronic" flasher is available at most auto parts stores. Late model stuff uses them - about $10. I'd try the LED's first without changing the flasher. You may still have enough resistance from the other bulbs to trip the original flasher can.

I put the 1157 led bulbs in rear of my 69 and have no trouble with them. Work just fine.

I was wondering where you found the LED 1157 replacement lamps. I tried the link above but it said that it couldn't be found. I would like to use them in my 67 El Camino if they are available.
