My Alternator light comes when the engine is cold after being started in the evening. Im running a normal load on the alternator. However, if i sun it real early in the morning or during the day with the same load the light doesnt come on. oh, and in the evenings after the car is warm the light still wont go off. Anyone have any idea why this is happening?

Not real sure. If it was mine, I'd think I'd take the alternator out and get it checked. Don't know where you are from but around here Kragen or Auto Zone will check it for you. Might be a good place to start.
