i am wiring my car and i need help
where does the wires for the alternator go?
One single wire on back?
Plug in of two on the side?

Welcome to Team Chevelle.
From the battery positive post you should have a red #10 wire that connects to a #14 fusible link then to a junction block next to the radiator. A second red #10 wore connects to the j-block and to the horn relay the alternator output (“One single wire on back”) also a red # 10 wire is spliced to this wire.
“Plug in of two on the side” One a white #16 connects the alternator R terminal to the voltage regulator#2 terminal the other a dark blue #16 wire connects the alternator F terminal to the voltage regulator F terminal.

What year is the car?
Does it stiil have the orignal wiring or has it been modified?
