Ok, weird one here. Im looking for a brake light switch that has an extra terminal for a power lead. I know they exist, but cant find them. Anyone know of the correct part #??? I need it for a vacuum pump. Also use the original one for a switch-pitch convertor. Right now the pump is running off the ign and runs all the time. Cant be good heating up like that and makes a good racket too. Thanks...CHRIS

Are you thinking of the one for a car with Cruise Control? You get the "normal" terminal pair, for the brake lights. This pair is normally open, closes when brake pedal is depressed.
There is a second pair of terminals, normally closed, opens when the brake pedal is depressed. I use this pair to disengage the torque converter clutch on my TH 700.
Thanks for the reply, but i dont think that one will work. I need one that is hot when the pedal is stepped on to switch on the convertor, and turn on the vacuum pump. Thanks...CHRIS

Why not add a relay. Use the output to the brakes for the relay coil. Should not load down the brake circuit.
