Did chevy make an 8.2 in a 66 chevelle and
if so would the internals (posi-unit) fit my
72 8.2 ?????????? I've found a good deal!!!!

Yes, as long as they are both 8.2's they will interchange.They also have to be Chevrolet units, B-O-P 8.2's are different.

Must be your lucky day. 66 Chevelle did come with a 10 bolt 8.2 and the 72 10 bolt should work. http://www.chevelles.com/forum/smile.gif
