Hey Guy's, I just replaced the rotor, cap and module in my HEI. I cranked it up this afternoon and discovered a new strange sound. It sounds like I have a ticking lifter, but I think the sound is coming from my distributor. Anyone ever heard of something like this?

Look at it in the dark and see if you see an arc jumping

Bad spark plug wire. The sound is something like something is hitting or rubbing inside the distributor?? Maybe a tick-tick sound? Bad wire.
