Hi,
I know this is a longshot, but does anyone have a Delco radio service manual that can look up the part number for a 71 or 72 AM/FM stereo volume control unit? My original one
needs to b replaced and I might have a source
if I can provide I part number. Thanks!

Hello Mike,
My 1970 Delco literature states that the volume/tone/on-off control for the factory AM/FM-stereo unit is Delco part # 7308134
There is no change that I'm aware of for the 1971 and 1972 model years concerning the pot's design. I might be able to furnish more info, but can't see to find my Photofacts right now (cleaning shop).

Hi Mike!
New member & first time with a question...
I realize that your issue with the volume control was some time ago, but I happened on your question via a search. I have the same problem as you in that the volume control, Delco part #7308134, is bad on my am/fm stereo radio. I'm having a very difficult time finding a replacement one. You or anyone else out there have any suggestions?
Thanks!
Dave
