I just put a rebuilt steering column in my 70, now when I turn the key on the park lights and dash lights come on. I dont know how that can be, the wireing plugged in perfectly and the column came with the correct (i guess) ignition switch. Could it be the wireing in the column? I didnt change anything else. This is supposed to be totally rebuilt that I got from Ground Up. BTW, even thouth the park lights come on everything else works correctly, even the turn signals..

If you yank the tail light fuse do they turn off?

John, I got it figured out. I had a wire hooked up to power that was actually supposed to be a ground wire.
