Ok I got this 69 chevelle and started trying to get it ready for the street. This car has a one wire alt. on it and they have it wire directly to the batt. My question is, can it be wire to the starter solenoid so that the wire is hidden somewhat and out of site with no problems to contend with. thanks cliff

Yes Cliff, all that it needs is 12 volts from a battery source. The starter lug would be perfect due to the heavy gauge wire from the positive battery post. I would run at least a 10 or 12 gauge wire up to the alt. stud though.
