I can not seem to get my dash lights to light up on my 69 SS.
I changed the switch, checked all grounds,etc,etc, still no lights!
PLEASE HELP. http://www.chevelles.com/forum/frown.gif :confused

Must be a quiet day around here.
There's a short fuse located in the bottom center of the fuse block. With your meter or test light measure the fuse clips on that one. Scratch the clips themselves so you find clean metal. Do you have 12 volts on each side of the fuse?

Yes there is power to both sides of the fuse.
I have changed the light switch & soon I will also change the dimmer switch.

How about the clips that hold the fuse? Corroded fuse clips are the normal problem. Did you remove the dash lights and check for power on the gray wires to a good ground?

I have them working now.
There was corrotion on the wires behind the fuse box. http://www.chevelles.com/forum/smile.gif
