Does anyone here know where I can get a volt gauge conversion for my 70 SS? I am planning
to install a hi output altenator and am afraid that the stock amp gauge won't handle the higher
readings. Besides, a volt gauge would be a bit more accurate than an amp gauge. Also-I am looking for the wiring diagram on how to change over from an external regulator to a newer style built in regulator. I remember seeing the diagram but can't seem to find it now. I did a search but still can't locate it.

The information on the alternator conversion is under the tech section on the main page. It's pretty thorough, and easy to understand.

i mounted a volt guage out of mid 70 Camaro Z28 in my 70SS Cluster. IT fits very well.

Check with these guys on the gage conversion. There's a couple of other places but this is the only address I can find in my junk box at the moment. Maybe someone else has another address.
