Anyone know how to speed up a clock! I was so proud of the fact that I got two clocks up and running! Now they are both slow. I keep winding them forward and have sprayed teflon, but they are still slow. I have them on a very good 12 volt source and they have been running for 3 days. I figure there must be some way to speed them up.

just a guess
But years ago, clocks had a slot on the back to adjust speed. There was a + on one side (faster) and - (slower) on the other. You would stick a small screwdriver in the slot and move the slide bar, that was inside, in the correct direction.

ALSO - be careful of what you use as a lube. Anything which does not dry - dry will attract dust and gum things up. Not sure exactly what to use, but search for user name coppertop - I'm pretty sure that he has posted something which works well.
