I bought a pair of spring ring batt. cables from Ground Up. I have no idear where the little black lead wire on the negative cable is supposed to go. The only place I see it will reach is a bolt on the fender. Is that right? I didn't have a little black lead on the cable I'm replacing, so I don't know for sure.

Yes, the little black negative lead goes to the fender. A second search revealed all... sorry... graemlins/clonk.gif :D
