Can anyone briefly describe step-by-step on how to remove the ignition switch lock from the switch casing? There's got to be a trick to this somehow. graemlins/angry.gif

This has to be the most aggravating thing I have encountered in recent times. I even have the dash out of the car, so I have plenty of access.

the same question was asked about a week ago in this forum. Last post was May 5 to that question, I think it related to a 70 chevelle. One reply to that included a great picture of the column with turn signal switch removed. Have a read and look at those posts.

okay, now if you have the lock cylinder out of the column, how do you remove the lock tumblers out of the switch cylinder?
