I putting my 67 back together and replacing or repairing all the electrical components under or around the dash. Car has never been complete since I bought it and the electrical was all hacked up. I want to start the car before I reinstall the steering column and it has a beat up Mega shifter in it that is not connected to the neutral safety swith. Do I need to and Can I jump the switch just so I can start it and test everything else? Thanks for the help

If your car came from the factory with a manual trans, there is nothing to jumper. Man trans cars didn't have a neutral safety switch in 67. The wire was routed directly from the ignition switch to the bulkhead connector then to the start solenoid.

An original auto trans car has heavy, 12 gauge, purple and a purple/white wires that will need to be jumpered together for starting.
