Hi Gang,

I need a good reliable battery for the 69 Elky. One that can stand the Southern California desert area.

The one I have now won't pop my door remotes unless I have a charger on it.

Any Suggestions?

You won't do better than an Optima.

I've seen alot of those Optima batteries in the battery pile at the junkyard. How long have they been out?

Have had a yellow top in my durango little over three years now.
