My wiring diagram shows a ground from the alternator. I have a connector on my alternator that has no wire and looks like it's for a ground. Can anyone tell me where it is supposed to ground, or better yet, post a picture? Thanks.

Just a guess, the wiring diagram I have makes me think it grounds thru the mounting. Perhaps John or Elree can pipe in and help.

No Elree. Guess I take a shot. Haven't seen a ground strap on an alternator. Only person that had problems was one that powder coated the mounting brackets.
