I am currently rebuilding my alternator, and I got new diodes to put in it, but I don't know where the positive ones go and where the negative ones go. If someone knows, please clue me in! Lets say I was looking at the inside of the alternator case, going clockwise, what order are they (there are 6, 3pos., 3 neg.)? Alternator is off my '67 Chevelle.

Thank you!
Steve

I have a new kit have not installed and the diods are marked for pos(red mark) and neg.(black mark)
The instructions call for neg diodes go in rear housing and the pos ones go in the rectifer bridge.

Thank you! I got all my stuff from a local rebuild shop and came with no instructions, and the old ones had no trace of marks (the new ones are marked as you said).
