I installed the LED drop-in bulbs for 1157 and the turn signals won't flash. I've read other posts, one referred to using a Tridon EL12 flasher but I can't find one.
Will any "electronic" flasher with the same pin locations work? Or if I need the EL12 flasher, what application would that be for that the parts guy can look up?

Tridon/Stant is a fairly popular brand. Stant name is on a lot of radiator caps and thermostats. Thought both AutoZone and Kragen (CKS) both sold that brand. Not sure about Pep Boys. There's a loud version of the EL12 called something like the FL12.
