1971 Chevelle

I have a 1971 Chevelle and I switched from regular dash to round style. My motor starts but thats about it. When I plug in the clip for turn signals and lights and such the left turn signal comes on and wont shut off. When I hit the brakes the left turn signal just comes on and doesn't blink. I am really sad and I can't figure this out. This is all I need to fix to finally be on the road.

Check your grounds, there's 3 black ground...
1 to wiper switch, 1 to back of gauges, and one to emergency brake bracket

OK,I think i can help a little.I do know that the housing of the fuel and temp gauge needs to be grounded. It is seperated from the main pod and does not have a ground. I also grounded the clock seperate and the main gauge pod.
