On my 70 SS with TH400 there is a 2 terminal electrical switch located on the gas pedal linkage inside the car…..my guess is that its for the kick-down function of the 400 but am not sure. Anybody know what its for and where to get one? Mine sticks just enough to make the pedal feel uncomfortable an not smooth. http://www.chevelles.com/forum/confused.gif

Your guess is a good one. Maybe someone who also has one will chime in about how it feels to them. It's a tough weekend for cars with all the games on the TV.

The switch is still listed as available from GM. Same part fits 70-75 all with TH400. Part# 1242101.
