Hey guys, I'm about to get rolling on dying a bunch of interior parts.
The original color of my '72 interior is dark Green, though I have some pieces that are black (mix and match).
I am going to order some SEM Landeau Black, plastic prep, and vinyl prep, and probably some of their no-sand primer.
My question is after I do the dye work, do I have to follow it up with the low-luster clear or can I just leave the dye as the top coat?

I wouldnt use any clear, I've seen an interior coated with a clear and it gave everything that painted look. looked cheap.

SEM dye is actually vinyl/plastic paint for the plastic parts. I mean how do you "dye" plastic? It can't be done. Anyway, i used the Landau Black and it came out perfect. Don't coat it with anything else....JM2cents
