This is frustrating...every car I look at is different. I'm trying to figure out which shifter handle is CORRECT for a '70 4-speed car with bench seats. Would anyone happen to have a picture of the correct one? Or at least be really good at describing things http://www.chevelles.com/forum/smile.gif As always, thank you in advance.

I don't have any numerical specs, but I can offer that the Muncie stick had a more pronounced rearward bend for bench seat cars than for console equipped cars. I assume that bucket seat cars without a console, got the same handle as a car with console. Handle should of course, be chromed with the name MUNCIE stamped on either side. To the best of my knowledge, there are no exceptions.

Thanks Merlin, that was my thinking as well. I've seen at least 3 different shaped ones all used on bech seat cars and was having a hard time figuring out which was the right one. So, the crazy wierd backwards bent curvy one it it then http://www.chevelles.com/forum/smile.gif thank you sir.
