Just wondering which fuel gauge will work with 1969 without changing the sending unit. Part number is from Summit Racing (http://store.summitracing.com/default.asp?target=/main.asp&l=ATM)

ATM-5814 2 5/8 in. diameter, 0 to 90 ohms, Phantom series, fuel level gauge

ATM-5815 2 5/8 in. diameter, 73 to 8-12 ohms, Phantom series, fuel level gauge

ATM-5816 2 5/8 in. diameter, 240 to 33 ohms, fuel level gauge

As per Fred Aldrich ( http://my.core.com/~faldrich/fuelgage.htm ) the GM unit measures approx 90 ohms when full. Go with the 5814. Found confirmation at www.autometer.com (http://www.autometer.com) Click on the TIPS/FAQ link in the left column then on the Fuel Gauges link.

Absolutely what Rick said, with an exception to 1964's, which are something else that someone will have to search, 65-1972(maybe above) are 0-90ohm. smile.gif
