hello guys, im new to this site and i am overwhelmed by the information thats in here. i currently own a 1970 chevelle with a 307. it originally came with a colum shifter. i want to convert it to a floor shifter using the original style these cars came with. i bought a complete console incuding the harness for it, and i also bought a used colum. is there anything else i need to do this conversion, also is there a step by step manual for this, any information will be gladly appreciated. thanks.

I will forward you the tech article that I was given regarding installing a console. I'm not sure what kit you purchased, but it should have all the brackets and pins required for hooking up the tranny, etc. The biggest challenge may be the column. That sucker is very tricky to assemble!
