Do 70 am stereo 8 track radios have a green tint on the plastic faceplate while 71-72 have blue? Is there any difference in appearance when installed other than the knobs? Are the letters on the 70 radios's greenish? Let me know, thanks, Tracy.

70-72 AM/8 units look almost identical, however they are not.

1970 units have a greenish tint to the numbering and the lens has a green tints on the corners so it illuminates green when the dash lights are on.

1971-1972 units have white lettering and a blue tints on the corners of the lens so they illuminate pale blue when the dash lights are on.
