I need someone with a 70 Chevelle bucket seat to measure from the top seam down to the chrome button. I'm planning on finishing the buckets tonight if you can help me out. They are out of a 70 Cutlass so no reference point.

Everytime I think about where I want to be I realize its never where I am.

Just measured both of mine. The top of the button is 6" from the top seam. I am the original owner of this car and they are still the original covers.

Ditto on the 6" measurement. My car has the original seat covers also.
