Wonder how I managed to do this in the first place?
It's the rear seat belts on my convertible, and the passenger side convertible top piston leaked big time. The seat belts were stuck under the seat, marinating in hydraulic fluid.
They are soaked. Can I clean these up? How?

When I got a lot of grease on my fabric seat I used Champion brake cleaner. Worked great and didn't harm the fabric. I'd try it on a hidden part of the belt first though. Good luck. Pete

Pull thm out of the car and soak them in a mild degreaser like Citric Clean by Zep (the orange looking stuff) sold at Home Depot.

Dino Just make sure your wife doesn't find out what you put in the dishwasher.
