brk65 Mar 19th, 04, 9:49 AM I am putting a ss dash with gauges and tach out of a 71 ss in my 72 chevelle. I have the wiring harness from the 71 also. Will I need to get the engine bay harness too or will the one from my 72 work. Is there anything else I should know about swapping these dashes. thanks Steve S Mar 19th, 04, 1:33 PM Bulk head connector for 72 differs greatly from 70/71 and Gauge cluster requires two extra wires not in the malibu harness for the amp gauge. I have a 70 but have the tach dash and harness from a 72. I would consider swaping my 72 harness for your 71 harness as long as yours is for an A/C car.
