I've read a few posts about Van Nuys built cars having a build sheet in the headliner? How many have found one in that location?

try under the carpet ,also the front seat and rear seat graemlins/thumbsup.gif
if no one has touched the car scince it was sold from the dealer. :rolleyes: tongue.gif

I've heard of them being found on top of the gas tank.

checked the interior except headliner, need to look on top of the gas tank, thanks.

Try under the seats (Stuck in the springs) and also in the instrument panel near the radio.

I found mine stuck to the inside of the passenger side door panel.

My 70 built at Van Nuys was on top of the gas tank.

thanks for all of the potential locations, I'll have more time to look this next weekend. I looked at as many of the spots I could with out any luck so far i.e. front seats, under and behind rear seat, under carpet, behind dash.

I found my Van Nuys build sheet inside of driver side seat back.

Hmmm, haven't found my elky's yet. But, I haven't touched the gas tank or the headliner.
I think the headliner may have been replaced once already though.

Since the only scrap of fabric still left on my '70 Van Nuys Elky was the headliner, I finished tearing it out. Nope, no build sheet and that was the last hope. :(

i plan on dropping the tank before i go for the headliner, just have no time, since thats all I am looking for I need to make sure I can put it back together so its not down for too long.
