I just replaced my standard SS steering wheel with a 4-spoke sport wheel. The horn wire with spring and plastic sleeve doesnt seem to work with this wheel. Does anyone out there know the part number for the correct wire assembly or a way to make my original one work?

You need to replace the wire contact with this other contact. Go to a Chevy dealer and tell them what you need, they still sell them. Its a six digit part number and the last three are "102", can't remember the rest of the numbers. Just went thru this a couple of months ago.
