I ran across a Monte Carlo dash that I'm in the process of restoring/repainting. It has the warning lights instead of guages, as do most Monte dashes. After looking closely at a couple of 71/72 instrument clusters on Ebay, I noticed that the guage/tach clusters do not have oil pressure guages, something I consider mandatory. So, I decided to leave the lights intact in the Monte instrument panel and come up with a way to mount guages down by the console, like the first gen Camaros. Either that, or mount them under the dash in the same area. If anyone has any ideas or if you have pictures of a similar setup, e-mail me or post the pics here.
Thanks!

Autometer now makes an A-pillar dual gauge pod for 68-72's. I modified a Camaro poad before they came out with the Chevelle one and really like the gauges there.

I wonder how the Camaro console pod will look in a Chevelle?
