radjay82 Mar 16th, 01, 7:41 PM My 71 has two speakers in the front dash and I don't see these in year one. what is the correct size speakers for these holes and how good does the mesh package tray look for speaker concealment. Advice would be greatly appreciated Ernest Mar 16th, 01, 10:42 PM Is it a stereo dash? I put new ones in my 70. I put in Pioneer 4x6's. I think GM is the only one who use's that size in the dash. they worked fine for me and no mods where needed. hope this helps. they sound pretty good too. JWagner Mar 18th, 01, 7:50 PM I have used the mesh package tray without any grilles and I thought it looked really good (I don't care for the grilles).It just required that the speakers be fastened to the metal shelf before the tray was installed. richr Mar 19th, 01, 7:13 AM If your looking to keep your original speakers you can have them re-coned.
