I thought these seals would be a snap to put on but they dont seem to line up to the holes in the door jamb. If you have a 68, could you post a pic on how these two seals are on your car? Mine keep hitting the bottom of the rear quarter window felts. Im sure once I see how they are installed it will make sense.

Not my car in the photo but it may help. I suspect you'll have to redrill holes in the door jamb.

I'd right-click and save this for future reference as I'll only have it here a few days then delete it from the showroom. graemlins/thumbsup.gif

Dale's right-you will have to probably redrill at least one of the holes. I had the same problem with my '69 and that was the only way to solve it. Darn funny (not!) that the new stuff wasn't made to line up any better but......... Good luck!

Heres a shot of my 68, with NOS 68 seals.. I didn't have to drill new holes. If new holes are necessary, I'd re-drill the rubber, not the quarters...

Thanks for the pics guys... Bill I cant tell... is the seal below or behind the window felts?
I can tell the holes will line up but I cant get the seal up far enough without it hitting my felt.

The seal goes on first. Then the window felt/rear panel goes on top of the seal. Then a screw goes thru both into the quarter...

Mine came with instructions saying you may have to redrill the holes.
